
High fibre, high protein
Ingredients:
400g tinned no added salt chickpeas
1/4 packet dark chocolate chips
6 pitted dates
1 cup rolled oats
2 tbsp maple syrup
Method:
Drain and rinse the chickpeas under water
Blend the rolled oats in a food processor or blender for two minutes for a "flour" like texture
Add the dates, maple syrup and chickpeas and blend until the dough is formed
Stir in the chocolate chips
Roll into small balls and refrigerate for 1 hour before eating
