Raw cookie dough balls



High fibre, high protein


Ingredients:


400g tinned no added salt chickpeas

1/4 packet dark chocolate chips

6 pitted dates

1 cup rolled oats

2 tbsp maple syrup


Method:

  1. Drain and rinse the chickpeas under water

  2. Blend the rolled oats in a food processor or blender for two minutes for a "flour" like texture

  3. Add the dates, maple syrup and chickpeas and blend until the dough is formed

  4. Stir in the chocolate chips

  5. Roll into small balls and refrigerate for 1 hour before eating
